About the Prescription for Health Program
Potential Applicants
The National Program Office will accept proposals from any primary care practice-based research network (PBRN) with headquarters in the United States. All PBRNs, including those funded in the first round, are eligible to submit a proposal.
A PBRN is a group of practices – often affiliated with an academic or professional organization – that is devoted principally to the primary care of patients and has sufficient research and methodological expertise to be able to investigate questions related to community-based practice. A PBRN or its institutional sponsor may submit only one proposal.
